How billing works
- Local CLI runs are free and unlimited.
- They are never metered and never count against a plan.
- Model costs are your own.
- Models run on your OpenRouter key, so tokens are billed by OpenRouter and never appear on our bill.
- A sandbox-hour is metered per second.
- It is an hour of a standard cloud sandbox, 2 vCPU and 4 GB. Larger sandboxes use hours faster: 4 vCPU and 8 GB counts as 2 hours per hour. A payment method is required before any cloud run, even within the included hours.
- The spend limit is on by default.
- Pro bills $1.50 per sandbox-hour past the allowance, and overage is capped at $50 a month until you raise the limit in billing settings. When the limit is reached, cloud runs pause until next month or until you raise it.
- Limits never delete anything.
- Existing workbenches and members are never deleted when a limit is reached. A limit only blocks new additions.
